The Ada High track
team wrapped up its 2016 season at the Class 5A State Tournament last weekend
at Moore High School.
The Cougars were led
by the boys 4x200 Meter Relay team, which finished fifth in a time of 1:31.29.
Included in that foursome were Sheldon Hysten, Levi Grimes, Kylen Cooper and
4x400 Relay team finished 11th in 3:33.95. That group was hampered when
Logan, its fastest runner, had to drop out due to a medical issue.

was the 4x200 squad) but improved to its fifth-place showing.

We felt like we had a chance to medal in the 4x1 and 4x2, and we were able to

14th in the shot put at 42-09 and Jake Martinez was 15th in the 100 Meter Dash.
