OKLAHOMA CITY – The Ada High School tennis teams cruised to first-place finishes Friday in the Pauls Valley Invitational held at the Oklahoma City Tennis Center.

The Ada boys had championships at No. 1 Singles, No. 2 Singles and No. 2 Doubles, while taking third at No. 1 Doubles.

Both Ada tennis teams will compete Friday in the Braver Invitational hosted by Heritage Hall High School.


The Cougars’ Harrison Boggs rolled to the No. 1 Singles title with a 6-1, 7-5 decision over Elk City’s Sean Coffey in the finals.

At No. 2 Singles, Ada’s Christian Siegle was an easy 6-0, 6-0 winner over Elk City’s Will Thompson in the title match.

Lane Taylor and Ryan McCortney, the Cougars’ No. 2 Doubles team, downed Shawnee’s Logan Clayton and Will Jordan, 6-2, 6-1 in the championship match.

At No. 1 Doubles, Ada’s Reese Siegle and Johnathan Cloar defeated Pauls Valley’s Cummings and Tice in the third-place match, 6-4, 6-0.
